Utility Box Mural, City of Pico Rivera, Los Angeles County, CA

August 2023

This piece was commissioned by the city of Pico Rivera. I designed it to celebrate the desert history of the area and features a native Matilija poppy blooming over an ombre background. The blue lines represent the river that runs through LA.

Facebook Artist-In-Residence Program Mural, Sunnyvale, CA

Acrylic paint, 11.5 feet tall by 61 feet long, August 2019

In August 2019 I had the opportunity to create an 600-square-foot indoor mural at Facebook’s Sunnyvale campus. Stretching across both sides of a long hallway and wrapping around angled walls, this mural offers the viewers an immersive and colorful glimpse into another world.  The design features a series of vignettes of stones balanced playfully within geometric, imaginary structures and shapes. The imagery is a metaphor for the balance between natural and constructed environments, and the connection and interaction of these realms.

285 Bartlett Street Mural, San Francisco

Acrylic and exterior spray paint on wood and brick, 11.5 feet by 36 feet, February 2018

336-square-foot mural for the StreetSmARTs Mural Program for the San Francisco Arts Commission. I created this mural in collaboration with the building owner and the SFAC, funded through a program designed to add public art to residential buildings that were frequently tagged. Using bright colors that reflect the Mission District’s rich history of mural arts, my design celebrates the building’s Victorian architecture and offers the viewer a peek into nature.
